It's one of the good and simple south Indian restaurants with a limited menu yet top quality food. First time I visited and loved what I ordered. They follow self service so each time you have to go and stand in queue for order and also for sambhar refilling.

It's a small canteen type which is being run by army men. The taste was okay but if you want to go for army men then definitely can visit it. Not authentic South taste

We have been getting south Indian breakfast (idli, dosa, vada) from here since really long. Of all the places that we've had south Indian breakfast in baroda, this is the one place which has been our one of the favorites. Although sometimes they do put a little bit more of garlic in the coconut chutney, their sambar is mostly consistent. We have lived in south India for over a decade & are accustomed to these food items & tastes & so are able to enjoy it from here the most. Everywhere else we feel that they just try to experiment new things in the name of fusion & likewise or try to blend in different styles into one, and end up ruining it entirely. These hard working soldiers here do a fantastic job in giving us the taste of their food as well. Keep it up.

Food was good and overall I was just disappointed with Sambhar since the chef was South Indian and I had high expectations but it’s still better than any other place in Vadodara. The chutney made of coconut had garlic in it so not recommended for Jains.
